Join us beneath the vast, starlit skies of Joshua Tree, where over four days, we'll embark on an intimate journey of couple photography, nestled within the unique beauty of the desert. This workshop is not just an opportunity to capture the enchanting landscape and the intricate dynamics of love and companionship; it's a deep dive into the artistry of photography, guided by two hosts who bring their own unique perspectives to the lens.
Set in an amazing villa that offers both comfort and inspiration, our retreat is designed for photographers eager to explore new dimensions of creativity and connection. This is the location where we'll gather for the magic to unfold. it is also the accommodation for the first 8 attendees.
Here, we'll meet, spend time, conduct the photo shoot, share experiences, and enjoy meals together for the whole workshops.

Spots are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. The first 8 people will be accommodated in Villa Le Chacuel, and the subsequent guests will be accommodated in Villa Bali and Villa Mesa.

MEET YOUR HOSTS
I'm Mari (like calamari without the cala) I'm a wedding, couple, and family photographer based in Chicago, IL and focus on the storytelling aspect of imagery along with playful movement and poetic visualization. As a former dancer and performer, using movement and prompt work is my go to in guiding clients into a natural flow. I don't consider myself a documentary photographer - while I still believe I am creating honest poetic and cinematic imagery, it is the representation of each love story I aim to tell. I am passionate about talking about my own story and how I alchemize my experiences into the art I create and how others can tap into that space as well.
